Personal Board of Directors with Terrence McBurnie II
For the 20th Episode of the View 112 Podcast, I snag a special guest! One of my business mentors, Terrence McBurnie II. Terrence has served in the United States Air Force, holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration, and has enjoyed an accomplished career in leadership with a couple of Fortune 100 caliber companies. Terrence is the first person to acquaint me with the concept of having a Personal Board of Directors for development. This concept of mentorship has changed the way I asses mentors and reevaluate the type of mentor I am to others. On this episode, I ask Terrence more details about establishing a Personal Board of Directors and what components are important to him. As usual, he provides great insight. You'll see why he's one of my mentors.
During our chats over the years, Terrence challenged me with a thought from renowned author, speaker, and businessman Jim Rohn: "You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with". We discuss the significance of this this concept and the power of cultivating relationships that matter.
Thanks for much for listening!
